Tundish Preheater

Shivshakti offers Tundish Preheater for C.C.M. line before operation. These are normally equipped with gas burner of from 3 to 6 strands for heating. The burners are ignited by pilot burner under auto ignition mode. The shield is covered by ceramic wool for its protection and efficient operation.

Our Preheater systems are used for preheating and drying the permanent and wear refractory lining of a tundish. Shivshakti Tundish Drying System comparises of very precise and emission-optimised drying and allows a burner turn-down-ratio of 1:10 and thus slowest heating curves, starting from 150°C.

Shivshakti's also offers new generation burners for Tundish Preheater that are designed to achieve extremely low nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions, surpassing stringent environmental regulations. These burners incorporate advanced technologies and deliver optimized combustion control to minimize NOx formation while maintaining high thermal efficiency and fuel flexibility.
